Nick,
I have not been keeping up with the position of the Pac High. Is it too low right now and that is keeping you shorebound?
I spent three wonderful months in Hawaii in ‘96. Plenty of tropical anchorages and nice snorkeling. take some time to enjoy Hawaii with perhaps the friendliest people of the USA. Lots of respect for sailors too.

Gutted! I’m in California at the moment and drove past Half Moon Bay a couple of days ago but thought you’d already be offshore by then. Am now heading towards Yosemite so having missed you in Bursledon I’ve now managed to do so here. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to just miss you in Bora Bora or Tahiti or somewhere too.
