Now THAT is a real bike!

That's awesome that fell into your lap, should make crossing the doldrums of the interior slightly more entertaining. And welcome back to the States, apologies for the stupid customs folks.

Your cycle trip is going to be awesome. You need to see Arizona. Thought I was one of the only ones with wild ideas. Two years ago I bought a 33 foot RV and drove it halfway across the US. Had a break down right at the Saint Luis Arch. Last year I bought a 600.00 VW Vanagon in Montana and drove it to the East Coast. It was banging and smoking by the time I got home. Fun though. You'll have a great time man. Ever need a place to stay in PA let me know.

Hey man,

I live in Seabrook, less than a mile from where Lee lived before he took off. I follow both of your blogs. If you need help with the motorcyle just let me know. If you come down to pick it up I have spare rooms in my house if you need a place to stay, or you can stay on the boat.

Hey Nick - I follow your stuff on Twitter and keep up with your blog. I'm so amazed by what you sailors/yachtsmen/crazies do. Let me know if you want more music for your Pacific passage. I have two turntables and a microphone. Seriously, I love making playlists for trips and you boating types inspire me. Good luck and sunshine!

Hey Nick,

Your words are way too kind mate, but thanks. Don't thank me for the bike just yet. Wait until you see what three years of the Texas salt air has done to all that chrome!

Everyone out here has their own reasons for being so. I often wonder what in our personalities pushes us to make a dream into reality? When so many day dream, why do so few turn to action? Maybe you, Maria, and I can figure it out over a beer sometime soon.

Cheers Nick. Hope you enjoy the ride.
