<description>Hi, I&#039;m an Australian living at the Sunshine Coast. I have been sailing around 8yrs mainly South East Queensland. Have been following your journey since the beginning. Stoked to see you start your journey and very jealous. If you make your way to Queensland love to shout you some beers. Hope you have a safe journal and fair winds.

<description>Sitting here in an air conditioned office in Brisbane living vicariously through your adventures via that there new fangled interweb.

I was fowllowing a similar blog of a Finn returning home from Australia (http://www.laurig.com/cruisingj.html) so it seems surreal to be reading about a similar journey in the opposite direction. Laurie too struggled with finances and other issues but he got there. Testament to the passion many cruising sailors possess.

Good luck and fair winds mate.
